Brynea, emblema: la spiga-spada

Brynea

Grain, frost and ash.

A decade of harsh winters. Half the fields lost. Hunger turned two peoples into enemies.

In development · first closed test: the 1v1 arena

The world

Every land shows the border between warm and cold

Grain

The warmth of what people defend: fields, granaries, the last good harvests. The war began over grain.

Frost

The cold that keeps advancing. In the north it comes back with the Frost, sharp and splintered, and nothing grows behind it.

Ash

The war itself. The Ash Line split the fields in two, and where the fighting is worst the ash still falls.

Brynea (bri-NEH-a) is the autumn frost on the wheat fields, in the old tongue both peoples once shared. After the long winters it became an omen: it was the cold that divided them.

Two peoples

One land, split down the middle

Aurenholt

Humans of white stone and heraldry. Square halls and symmetry, banners raised high, a rayed sun over every gate.

  • Sun-rayed banners
  • Slate-blue roofs
  • Milestones

Vaelkin

Tall forest folk with ritual marks in verdigris and amber. Curves, spirals and leaves, never quite symmetrical.

  • Amber lanterns
  • Leather sails
  • Antler totems

Neither of them is innocent.

Combat

Classic tab-target, read at a glance

Tab

Pick a target. A thin gold outline tells you who it is.

1–9

Keep your distance, time your abilities, read what your enemy is about to do.

Hit

The server decides every hit, so what you see is what happened.

Fury

Warrior

Charge in, stun, hold the line.

Energy

Scout

A bow and all the distance you can keep.

Mana

Priest

Heals that rise from the ground under your allies.

Mana

Mage

Spells cast from where the enemy can't reach.

First arena

The Ruins of Ashmere

  • Turn the map 180° and every wall and every ruin has a twin, so both sides get exactly the same chances. It still looks like a real village, not a mirror.
  • Both sides start hidden. We tested about 10,000 lines of sight between the starting areas: all blocked.
  • In the middle stands a half-fallen tower, with the cracked bell still hanging at the top.
  • From minute two the ash starts falling, and every heal gets weaker.
Sketch, not the real map: each block has its twin across the tower.
